Kent Hughes has just announced a nice surprise

There has been a lot of action in the last few hours for the Montreal Canadiens.
In addition to the signing of Kirby Dach, Kent Hughes announced that goaltender Carey Price has been placed on the long-term injury list.
In a press briefing, he revealed several other interesting tidbits, including this one:
Also, he had a nice surprise for the fans, a nice turn of events.
While most experts took for granted that forward Paul Byron would also be placed on the infamous LTIR and miss the entire 2022-2023 season, here's something new!
Byron is doing just fine
The Montreal Canadiens general manager announced a nice surprise, as Hughes finally expects Byron to be back in action at the start of the season. Wow!
He was left out of most of the lineup predictions and trios that were floating around, but we'll have to reconsider. We love it!
