Signing alert within the Montreal Canadiens organization: we have just learned about the signing of Justin Ducharme
In the last few seconds, the Trois-Rivières Lions, affiliated with the Montreal Canadiens, have announced the signing of Justin Ducharme.
Ducharme, 23 years old and hailing from Mirabel, is a 6-foot forward weighing 183 pounds. He has collected 8 points (5 goals) in 22 games in the AHL.
See the official announcement below:
"Justin Ducharme will be back with the Trois-Rivières Lions on October 20th!
The hometown forward will undoubtedly contribute to the team's offense with his speed and offensive instinct.
Welcome back to the team, Justin!" - Lions
He also played 19 games with the Laval Rocket in the 2021-22 season before making the jump to the Texas Stars. So, indeed, it's a return to the Canadiens' organization for young Ducharme.
He gathered 33 points in 43 games with Idaho last season.
The former player of the Val d'Or Foreurs, Chicoutimi Saguenéens, and Acadie-Bathurst Titan will strive to make his mark for the Habs' ECHL-affiliated club.
Further details will follow.
