Wow.

It's extremely rare to see stories like this in the media, but kudos to Arber Xhekaj! It says a lot about him!

Xhekaj personally went to apologize to Martin St-Louis and his teammates today

See notably the report from the excellent Anthony Martineau.
"This morning, Arber Xhekaj went to apologize to the coaches for his penalties yesterday.

I just asked MSL how to manage a player like the Sheriff without 'denaturing' him.

Also, the opinion of no 72 about his relationship with his coach."

To see:
"In his first game since his recall, Arber Xhekaj got a penalty Tuesday against the Sens. Yesterday he was penalized twice.

Respect for the young man. This morning, at the beginning of practice, we saw him chatting for a long time with the coach. He wanted to offer his apologies." - Luc Gélinas, RDS

Xhekaj indeed revealed in a press conference that he wanted to apologize for his penalties.
He took the initiative to go see his coaches earlier today, realizing that it hurts the club and that some penalties really had no reason to be.
"We were leading 3-0. I made a turnover at their blue line and got a penalty on the play. Those were two penalties that could have been avoided, he continued. They told me to forget about it, to focus on practice. That today was a brand new day." - Arber Xhekaj

Hats off!
