Possible trade to come between the Montreal Canadiens and the Flyers involving center Christian Dvorak

Since the beginning of the season, some forwards have been disappointing for the Habs. Evgenii Dadonov and Mike Hoffman immediately come to mind, but there is also Christian Dvorak, to a certain extent, especially in terms of lack of consistency.

However, we must say that, in his case, we are not talking about a lack of effort, because he had several chances to score since the beginning of the season and his efforts were rewarded last Saturday with a hat trick in his team's 7-4 win over the St. Louis Blues.

He was one of the team's most productive forwards at the end of the season last year, along with Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki.

However, it could be that the number 28 will be sacrificed by Kent Hughes in an eventual transaction because there is currently a surplus of forwards with the Habs and also because Dvorak has a certain market value.


Let's say that this is a hypothesis that Tony Marinaro believes in and he wouldn't be surprised if the American forward was involved in a transaction with the Philadelphia Flyers.

At least, that's what he said during his appearance on the JiC show on TVA Sports.


Marinaro mentioned that the injury to Sean Couturier, he who is expected to miss several months, which would force the Flyers management to have to move quickly. However, Jean-Charles Lajoie totally disagreed with his words.


While he's not entirely wrong, it has to be said that the Flyers are one of the nice surprises of the early season, and right now there's no rush for Kent Hughes to make a trade with the Flyers.
