When the free agent market opened, Phillip Danault decided to leave the Montreal Canadiens organization for the Los Angeles Kings. He signed a six-year deal worth $5.5 million.
Even if he leaves for Los Angeles, Danault will obviously still have a soft spot for the Canadiens. According to him, there were no words to describe the pride he had while he was wearing the Montreal Canadiens uniform.
He took the opportunity to pour his heart out on his Instagram account, thanking all fans and members of the Montreal organization. A warm testimony and kind words from Victoriaville's native.
Danault obviously had a lot of emotions while writing this post. He will keep good memories of his time in Montreal.
