As of today, P.K. Subban remains unsigned, although discussions are intensifying to find a roster spot for him before training camp. Earlier this summer, Subban's agent noted that the defenseman will make a decision on where he will play soon.
Rumors have linked him to the Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs and even his former team, the Montreal Canadiens. However, a new contender has come in and fans are stunned to learn that it is the Boston Bruins.
Also keep in mind that Subban is expected to sign a very cheap contract. He might even be convinced to sign a low-risk one-year contract worth $750,000, especially considering that camps will begin very soon.
Boston fans, however, think it would be shocking to see Subban in a Bruins uniform considering he was one of the Bruins' biggest rivals when he was on the Canadiens' roster. Remember the times he checked Marchand!
