P.K. Subban has built a strange reputation this season. On a few occasions, the CH alum could be seen tripping opponents, which has garnered a lot of attention around the league.
Tripping is also called "slew foot". It was this term that inspired New Jersey Devils goalie and Subban's teammate Mackenzie Blackwood to throw a friendly tip to number 76.
Subban posted a photo on his Instagram account following his team's 3-0 win on Wednesday.
That's when Mackenzie Blackwood renamed his teammate as "Slewban," a combination of "slew foot" and Subban. That's great!
Here is the publication in question, as well as the comments :
Obviously, P.K.'s teammates are taking a lot of pleasure in laughing at him (in a friendly way), which must create a great team spirit in the locker room.
