The great Serge Savard was on the "La Poche Bleue" podcast Wednesday night to talk about Marc Bergevin's hiring in 2012.

Savard, once a member of the CH staff, had participated in Bergevin's hiring along with owner Geoff Molson.
The 75-year-old had previously asked Marc Bergevin to call him back after the association to discuss. However, Bergevin never bothered to call back the former CH number 18.
"I gave Marc my comments when we hired him, but he never called me back. He never contacted me. He has the right to do that. But there's one case, for example, it wasn't me who hired him because I didn't own the team, but if I had been against him, he would never have been hired. We were a committee of two. So if I had been against him, he wouldn't have gotten through."
Mr. Savard tried another time to get in touch with Bergevin, but this time in person. It was when the CH removed Guy Lapointe's jersey.
"I asked him once to meet him when Guy Lapointe's jersey was retired at the press conference, I told him that I would like to meet you and that I had something to talk to you about. He told me it was the draft in Pittsburgh this weekend and that he would call me back. And guess what, I'm still waiting for the call."
Maxim Lapierre, host of the podcast, was very disappointed with the behavior of "Big Marc". He was even very irritated.
"It's serious like that, we say that even in podcast for fun, but it's serious. For me, it's shameful."
