Marc-André Fleury With the Montreal Canadiens For One Season: That's Exactly What Has Just Been Discussed on TVA Sports
It's the wish of many fans, and clearly, it continues to be a topic of conversation among some observers of the Montreal Canadiens.
If Samuel Montembeault does not re-sign with the Habs and leaves next summer via free agency, wouldn't it be a great story to see the great Marc-André Fleury sign a one-year contract with the CH to come and end his career with the Canadiens.
And if Montembeault stays and Jake Allen leaves via a trade, could Fleury replace him? We don't necessarily believe it, but know that it's a subject that was recently discussed on TVA Sports.
Jean-Charles Lajoie and Tony Marinaro recently had a heated debate on the topic. For JiC, there's no doubt about it. He would like to see the Sorel native sign a one-year contract, to come and finish his career at home, with the Montreal Canadiens.
Here's the exchange in question, on TVA Sports.
