After going through all sorts of controversies before, forward Josh Ho-Sang has been offered an incredible opportunity by the Toronto Maple Leafs. This former first round pick of the New York Islanders is loaded with talent, but sometimes that's not enough. No one is bigger than the team.
He was late to a few practices, refused to report to the AHL affiliate team and picked number 66 in his NHL debut... Does that give you an idea of the character? The Islanders had enough.
Kyle Dubas took a low-risk gamble by giving him a professional tryout, even though it could pay off big. He was paired with John Tavares on the Leafs' first line for tonight's game. A duo that could cause headaches for the Tricolore's defensemen.
And just to put the cherry on top, Ho-Sang will play on the first power play unit.
The Leafs have given him the tools to succeed, will he be able to seize this golden opportunity?
