Mike Hoffman arrived at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard early this week with an injury somewhere on his body. The forward has a lower body injury, most likely in the groin area. Dominique Ducharme said that he will be out for two to four weeks and could/will miss the beginning of the regular schedule.
Ducharme added that he was leaning more towards four weeks, which is a bit disappointing news, especially since this injury practically came out of nowhere. He shows up, then all of a sudden, "oops, guys, I got hurt before I came"... Quite unusual!
As for Brendan Gallagher, he was not in the team's environment for family reasons, but according to the chief pilot, "Gally" will skate tomorrow. Number 11 will practice, but will not participate in the Reds vs. Whites game scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. He will rejoin the group on Monday. Isn't that a great news!
Oh yes, Joel Edmundson should also join the team on Monday, as should Brendan Gallagher. He will certainly take his place on the left side of Jeff Petry.
