There have been some speculations over the last few months that Carey Price might become the goaltending coach for the Montreal Canadiens.
It seemed almost ridiculous and purely speculative according to some, but it wasn't as much as it turned out!
We just learned that Carey Price has been working as a goaltending coach over the last few weeks to help Samuel Montembeault prepare for the World Hockey Championship. Wow!
And it seems to have been effective because Sam pitched a shutout today.
"Carey Price has recently worked as a goaltending coach with Sam Montembeault to help him prepare for the IIHF World Championship." - Habs on Reddit
The idea of Carey eventually becoming the goaltending coach for the Habs may be more plausible than we thought. Plus, he's always been recognized as a goalie with impeccable technique.
