As the Montreal Canadiens players returned to practice this morning in preparation for tomorrow's game against the Buffalo Sabres, Martin St-Louis unveiled some new combinations.
First of all, it should be noted that young Arber Xhekaj was training as an "extra", so he will obviously be out of the lineup tomorrow, in favor of Jordan Harris.
Juraj Slafkovsky now finds himself on the team's second trio, along with Christian Dvorak and Brendan Gallagher. This is a great promotion and a great opportunity for him.
There is a good chance that we will finally see the big Slovak on an offensive trio, if Hoffman will be absent for a few games. To be continued!
This is indeed a nice turnaround for "Slaf", who spent the majority of the season on the fourth line.
