It's a story that has taken on big (too big?) proportions, but the famous Carey Price publication was the talk of the Montreal Canadiens today. Journalists asked questions about it.

After the statement of France Margaret Bélanger:

"Carey Price "was not aware" of the tragic events of December 6, 1989 at Polytechnique Montreal, which cost the lives of 14 young students in addition to injuring 13 others.

That's according to a written response from France Margaret Bélanger, president of the CH Group, who followed up on a few of our questions to find out the context of the Canadiens goalie's statement."

- Pascal Robidas, Radio-Canada

It was then the turn of the excellent Chantal Machabée to speak on the subject. At least, she responded to the reporter's message, but she didn't really take a stand.

"For her part, Montreal Canadiens vice-president of communications Chantal Machabée said the organization had no intention at this time of making a public statement on its concession player's speech." - Pascal Robidas, Radio-Canada

So she mentioned that she will wait before making a public statement.

We remind you, of course, that we are simply passing on the information. We do not necessarily agree or disagree with what is being said in the media about Carey. It is really up to you to make your own opinion.

Martin St. Louis also questioned

Finally, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis also broke his silence on the matter at a press briefing.

See his full response starting at the three minute mark in the following video:
