Last-minute announcement involving Lane Hutson and the fans love it
Many Montreal Canadiens fans still don't realize just how special Lane Hutson is.
He's probably the best prospect for the Habs right now, one of the top prospects in the entire NHL, and unsurprisingly, he's already doing some very special things in the NCAA.
We're so eager to see him in action with the Canadiens logo! And that might even happen this season, after his season at BU.
In short, besides breaking records set by Adam Fox, Cale Makar, and Quinn Hughes, Lane Hutson is already making a name for himself at Boston University.
Last weekend, Hutson had an absolutely amazing game.
He finished the game with an impressive total of 36 minutes played, while touching the puck a record 269 times during the game.
A ridiculously high number.
Lane also scored his team's game-winning goal in overtime.
All of this has already earned him the title of Player of the Week in the entire Hockey East division.
I have a feeling this won't be the last time this happens.
See the official announcement.
What a player!
