There was a lot of action today for the Montreal Canadiens, and not much good news. First, the organization announced this: Forwards Kirby Dach and Sean Monahan and defenseman Chris Wideman are not participating in practice this morning (treatments). - Montreal Canadiens Dach's absence is definitely not good news, and as for Sean Monahan, it's not a good sign, as Renaud Lavoie mentions: Sean Monahan is not at practice today. Not a very good sign. We then got a nebulous update: Update on absent players. Injured, Wideman will not make the trip the rest of the way Ill, Dach not leaving with club but could go to Philly Edmundson: daily evaluation since January 26 Monahan: nobody knows anything. - Luc Gélinas, RDS There is also good news, as young defenseman Kaiden Guhle will be on the trip for his part. Back to Monahan, who seems to be a worrying case, see what Renaud Lavoie mentioned this morning:

Friday he skated alone in Toronto, and wasn't able to push properly, Saturday, St-Louis confirmed that Monahan reached a plateau. It's looking unlikely he will get traded before March 3rd of he can't get on the ice. More details will follow.
