Last-Minute Signing Alert Within the Montreal Canadiens Organization, and it's Eric Hjorth
They made a mysterious post to announce it earlier today, but it's now confirmed.
The Lions of Trois-Rivières just announced the signing of Eric Hjorth, a 22-year-old right-handed defenseman drafted 104th overall in 2019 by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
"Eric Hjorth will start his very first season with the Lions of Trois-Rivières on October 20th! This giant-sized 6 ft 4 in and 200 lb defenseman will contribute to the team's offense and is as quick as lightning!" - Lions of Trois-Rivières
He was playing in Sweden last season and is indeed a colossus who will bring a strong physical presence.
Details to follow.
