The verdict has just come in for Alex Galchenyuk and things are getting tough
In the last few minutes, in addition to learning that defender Tony DeAngelo has been surprisingly placed on unconditional waivers by the Philadelphia Flyers, the verdict has also fallen for Alex Galchenyuk.
Nobody wanted him, and he was ignored on waivers.
So, he finds himself without a contract again, and his career in the NHL might well be unfortunately over.
It's really sad. We tend to forget him too often, but he was solid for the Montreal Canadiens. He was doing well here:
We wish him the best of luck moving forward, and all the necessary support.
More details will follow.
