The Montreal Canadiens have placed the name of defenseman Sami Niku on waivers. Obviously, he did not convince the new management. If he is not claimed, he will likely be demoted to the Laval Rocket.
The name of defenseman Josh Brook has been removed from the injury list! Great news for Jean-François Houle's team.
With the return of Corey Schueneman and Josh Brook to Laval, as well as the potential arrival of Sami Niku, the Rocket will have a good defense. It's promising!
In addition, Michael McNiven has been assigned to the back-up squad, which seems to mean that Samuel Montembeault will return to the game.
