As we've known for a few weeks now, the Habs started training camp today without the services of Carey Price and, barring a miracle, he should not play in the 2022-2023 season.
However, as Marc-Olivier Cook of Danslescoulisses.com reports, the goalie is expected to spend the season in Montreal and there is a real possibility that he will be around the team during the year.
As for what role he might have within the organization, let's just say we don't know much about it. During his show Les Amateurs de sports on 98.5, host Mario Langlois spoke with Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes, and Hughes provided some clarification on the matter.
That's great news about Carey Price's future in the Habs organization and, short of being able to play, he could bring some pretty interesting expertise to the organization's young players. After all, who better than Price to understand the media pressure of playing in Montreal.
