For the past few days, we've been telling you about Montreal Canadiens prospect Riley Kidney, who is having a masterful season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Kidney, who turned 19 in March, has at least kept his word when he said at the beginning of the season that he wanted to "destroy the QMJHL". Nearly six months later, the CH's second round pick (63rd overall) in the 2021 auction has kept his word.
He scored 100 points (30 goals) in 66 games with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and really impressed most experts.
This is the first time in 22 years that two Tricolore prospects have reached the 100-point mark in the Courteau circuit (with Kidney and Joshua Roy).
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR YOUNG MAN'S CAREER
In the last few minutes, the CH organization just announced some big news for Riley Kidney:
"The Canadiens agree to terms on a three-season entry-level contract (2022-2023 to 2024-2025) with forward Riley Kidney." - Montreal Canadiens

Some compare his style of play to that of Nick Suzuki. Kidney is very smart and is progressing quickly.
"Club de hockey Canadien general manager Kent Hughes announced Wednesday that the team has agreed to terms on a three-season entry-level contract with forward Riley Kidney (2022-2023 to 2024-2025).

The deal will pay Kidney $750,000 in the NHL in 2022-2023 and $775,000 from 2023-2025, as well as include a $92,500 signing bonus for each year. Kidney will earn a salary of $80,000 per season in the American League." - Montreal Canadiens
