For too long, this file has been dragging in the mud since the Eichel clan and the Sabres were totally at odds over the "neck" injury of the star forward.

For his own good, surgery would be optimal in the long run, but Kevyn Adams, the club's general manager, wanted nothing to do with it and never allowed Eichel to go under the knife.
Through this narrative, the franchise even took the role of captain out of Jack Eichel's hands. Everything pointed to an eminent divorce, but the Sabres have been playing childish on this thorny issue for too long.
In short, the 25-year-old center is now a member of the Vegas Golden Knights. This morning, he must be shouting FINALLY or VICTORY or THANK YOU because he will finally be able to have surgery, something that the Knights have accepted.
Currently, Vegas has Max Pacioretty, Mark Stone and William Karlsson injured among their big guns. Once healthy, this club will be very strong!
The return Kevyn Adams got for his Sabres is monstrous!
In addition to the draft picks, Alex Tuch comes in to play a power forward role in Buffalo. He is still under contract for five years (including this one).
The only thing is, he's a regular on the injured list... and he's in the infirmary right now.
Sabres fans will quickly learn to love Peyton Krebs, who was drafted two spots below Cole Caufield. He's a fast center, great all around and very scrappy. He has great potential and that's what attracted Kevyn Adams!
Now Kevyn Adams has to build on that for the success of his team. Because his fans are tired of seeing their favorite team miss the playoffs!
