While his days (or even his hours) really seemed to be numbered in Montreal, before the hiring of Martin St-Louis, Jeff Petry, like several other Habs players, has really experienced a fairly impressive resurgence in recent games.
Yesterday, during the second intermission of the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Winnipeg Jets, the Cogeco network analyst, Dany Dubé, made a very direct statement.
According to his analysis of the situation, according to what he sees and what he hears, Petry will remain in Montreal for the rest of the year.
He even adds that, currently, Kent Hughes' phone is not ringing regarding the Habs defender, the other NHL GMs are focusing on Ben Chiarot.
