Important revelation concerning Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and it has a link with Arber Xhekaj
Since his recall with the CH, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard has become the new darling of Habs fans. His hard work has been rewarded with two two-goal games in less than a week, enough to make parents proud!
His parents were interviewed on TVA on Wednesday and we can see how proud they are. We even learn that the young man imitated in a way Arber Xhekaj during the pandemic when he was constantly working at his parents' pizzeria when he was not training.
On 98.5 FM, former NHL forward Antoine Roussel also spoke about that time when he was training with RHP in Saguenay.
This gesture shows how Harvey-Pinard is not afraid to work, and it shows on the ice. His efforts have now paid off, as he seems to have gained the confidence of his coach.
The similarity between RHP and Xhekaj does not end there. If the Quebecer was drafted in the NHL, unlike the defenseman, it was in the 7th round, 201st pick. He had as much to eat as Xhekaj if he wanted to prove that he could play in the big league. RHP seems, for now, to have succeeded. We can only hope that he becomes a regular player for the Habs.
