Everything indicates that we will finally have a Wright vs Slafkovsky confrontation, and it could be very interesting, especially if Slafkovsky stays on his team's second line.

So it's over for Wright in the AHL, he's back in the NHL! In five games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, Shane Wright scored four goals and zero assists. (4 points in 5 games)

This will also possibly be Wright's first game against the Montreal Canadiens since his famous look at the CH in the 2022 draft.
