Habs fans have shown a fair amount of forgiveness to Logan Mailloux
Opinions are very divided about Logan Mailloux among Habs fans.
The young man has been the talk of the town for the past few days. He had two solid performances with the London Knights this weekend, resulting in four points in two games and a +7 rating.
People are starting to understand why the Habs picked him in the first round in 2021, despite the controversy surrounding the 18-year-old. He's quite a hockey player, you can never take that away from him.
This situation helped create a poll conducted by JiC Lajoie, about the right-handed defenseman.
The question posed by the TVA Sports host was: "What do you think should happen to Habs prospect Logan Mailloux?"
Let's remember that no less than 3749 fans took part in this poll.
Believe it or not, Habs fans are UNANIMOUS! They voted at 88% in favor of Mailloux paying his debt and that they want to follow his development.
Then, 8% voted in favour of a deal involving Mailloux's rights.
To conclude the poll, 4% of fans believe that the Habs should give up their rights to the youngster.
What we can conclude from this is that Montreal Canadiens fans are open to giving Logan Mailloux a second chance and following his progress. He is obviously a very exciting prospect on the ice, there is no doubt in my mind that he will be an NHLer one day.
It will be interesting to see what the new management decides in this matter.
