The Montreal Canadiens have claimed forward Rem Pitlick on waivers from the Minnesota Wild.
Who is Rem Pitlick?
An Ontario forward who has 11 points in 20 games this season with the Wild.
He was a third round pick for the Nashville Predators in 2016.
This is an interesting project that Jeff Gorton just offered to his organization. He's still young at 24 years old and has some very enticing offensive potential. He is far from being THE solution to revive the Habs offense, but it won't hurt the cause of his new troop.
Remember that he is the brother of Rhett Pitlick, a Montreal Canadiens prospect selected in the fifth round in 2019.
