Guy Boucher, former head coach in the NHL, has never been shy about giving his opinion on the Montreal Canadiens. This one recently heard Patrick Roy's comments, who mentioned that the Habs did not need a rebuild to revive the team.
He totally agrees with the former number 33 of the Tricolore.
Thinking about a rebuild would be a panic move on the part of the new management, according to Boucher. There are other alternatives.
"It's such a dynamic environment in field hockey that, again. You're two players away from being in the top tier and you're also two players away from being in the bottom tier."
Boucher also believes that the new general manager will have to look for an offensive center to reduce
Nick Suzuki's responsibilities.
Add a guy like Letang or Klingberg to the defense and we have a whole new dynamic on the Habs blue line. At center, there is a lot of talk about a certain
Tomas Hertl being available from San Jose.
The team needs to get back on track, but they need to keep their draft picks. These will be crucial for the future of the organization.
