While we expected many dark years for the Canadiens, especially after the last campaign and training camp, it is still a very exciting start to the season that Martin St-Louis' team is offering us.
Don't put your head in the sand, the Canadiens are not expected to make the playoffs this year, but many players are showing us a lot of talent and we are discovering some quality rookies on defense.
However, there are a few veterans who are dragging their feet. Naming names would be pointless here, we know very well who they are and they themselves would be the first to recognize it. That's what shocked Georges Laraque on BPM Sports on Monday, when the former tough guy didn't go easy on Kent Hughes and his decision to put Rem Pitlick on waivers.
According to George, Kent Hughes made his first blunder by making this personnel move. Rem Pitlick doesn't cost much and he's at least as useful as three particular veterans. Besides, Laraque would have submitted Dadonov on waivers in his place.
