The Montreal Canadiens practiced this morning at Madison Square Garden in preparation for their matchup against the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.
There was some good news on the ice, including the appearance of Jonathan Drouin and the return of the Drouin-Dvorak-Anderson line. A trio that has been sensational during the preparatory camp and at the beginning of the campaign.
Here is the entry of the Quebecer who proudly wears the number 92 and who will make his return tonight:
Mike Hoffman, for his part, did not jump on the ice, which allowed Artturi Lehkonen to be on the third unit once again.
In front of the net, it looks like Cayden Primeau will be sent into the fray to play his first game in a Habs uniform this year.
Jake Allen was conspicuous by his absence. I remind you that the medical staff are evaluating his condition daily, but for the moment, we know that he is suffering from a concussion and that he won't be back until Saturday.
As for Hoffman, he will be out one week with an upper body injury.
