During the Islanders game, a marriage proposal quickly took an unexpected turn

All summer long, the man in question had been patiently waiting for his favorite team's home opener, to make his big request in spectacular fashion, but it took an unexpected turn.

Interestingly, even though his wife left, he went back to his bench to finish his drink and to finish to the game.
