Bad news for Habs fans! If you were hoping that the CH would finally get two wins in a row, you will be disappointed. Dominique Ducharme's team lost 3-2 in overtime last night against the Red Wings. The Tricolore had to settle for the charity point again.
However, in the extra period, the Canadiens' head coach seemed to want to send a message to Christian Dvorak. The former Arizona Coyotes forward, acquired with the departure of Jesperi Kotkaniemi this summer, was not sent on the ice in overtime while Ryan Poehling, fresh from Laval, and Mike Hoffman were in the fray.
Dvorak's start to the season has been pretty dismal. Offensively, he hasn't done too badly with one goal and four assists. However, it's defensively that things are getting worse, with a minus-16 differential... That's pretty disappointing for a guy that we saw coming to replace Phillip Danault!
Let's hope that the message gets through to him.
