Could the dispute between Molson and Bergevin be caused by a personal aspect?

Since taking over in May 2012, Marc Bergevin has shown time and time again how human and attached he is to his players. When he loves, he loves. The two best examples are certainly Shea Weber and Carey Price, who are downright like two sons to him.
By the way, could this relationship between the three men play against Marc Bergevin, who's still without a contract extension?
A reader and big fan of the Montreal Canadiens, Olivier Baillargeon raised this hypothesis via Twitter: "I'll throw the idea out there. What if the reason for the dispute between Bergevin and Molson was the captain Shea Weber? Bergevin, humanist, thinks of his player and his desire not to harm Nashville. Molson, a businessman, wants to get out of the contract and is thinking about his insurance coverage."
But at the same time, it remains Shea Weber who decides whether or not to sign the documents that confirm his retirement. A retirement postponed most likely because of a financial loss and a monstrous penalty that the Nashville Predators would have to pay.
In short, we can speculate on this relationship that seems strained between the two men. Some have even mentioned the situation of sexual allegations at the Hawks, when Bergevin was part of that team. Maybe Molson was waiting for the results of the investigation, who knows?
