Chris Wideman made an incredible gesture to Jordan Harris even though he's stealing his job
During the Montreal Canadiens' practice today, before the trip to Columbus, journalist Patrick Friolet (RDS) captured a sequence that is a bit overlooked, but it is huge.
"Long exchange between Jordan Harris and Chris Wideman at the end of practice. Good leadership from the veteran, who multiplies the advice for the youngster." - Patrick Friolet

How incredible a teammate is Wideman? He spends a lot of time every day giving young Jordan Harris good advice and helping him be the best defenseman he can be for the Montreal Canadiens.
He doesn't have to do that, especially since Harris is stealing his spot on the Habs' blue line.
Harris is literally the reason why Wideman has been out of the lineup more often than not lately. And how does he react to that? Instead of seeing him as an enemy, he helps him become even better.
Still, he really takes his role to heart and helps the kid. Hats off to him!
