A few days ago, the Boston Bruins surprisingly fired their head coach Bruce Cassidy. It didn't take long for the head coach to agree to talk to the media about his dismissal.
Cassidy even said that some NHL teams have already contacted him about a future position.
The worst part of this whole story is that Cassidy had come out of his debriefing meeting with his bosses confident that his job was not on the line.
In the end, it was a lie. This controversial firing is becoming more and more controversial, and it's not looking good for the Boston Bruins organization.
It looks like Cassidy is not happy and is ready to shove it down his former bosses' throats. Hard to disagree with him. He did his job, unlike Sweeney who seems to have chosen the option that will save, for now, his skin.
