The hot topic in the National Hockey League is obviously Kyle Beach. Since the unveiling of Beach's identity last night, reactions have been coming from all sides, the latest one coming from Montreal Canadiens right winger Brendan Gallagher, who admitted to listening to Beach's interview.
Like most of us, Gally admits to being troubled by Beach's situation, and he was quick to slam the NHL Players' Association (NHLPA) for its lack of help in this matter.
Here are his statements:
"The NHLPA let him down."
OUCH! That's quite an arrow Gallagher just sent to the players' Association. However, it's hard to argue with him under the circumstances, especially with all the information that has come out in the last few hours and with the impressive number of people in high places that we're learning about who turned a blind eye to Brad Aldrich's actions.
One thing is for sure, Gallagher seems to have more compassion for Beach than a certain number 19 of the Blackhawks that we won't name. In short, this case has not finished to spill ink all over the league...
