If you were expecting a possible return of Bob Hartley to the helm of an NHL team, you're going to be disappointed. The 60-year-old has been at the helm of the Omsk Avangard in the KHL for three seasons now and he's not about to budge from there.

In addition, the latter was the head coach of the Latvian national team since 2016, but he will no longer be. Obviously, Hartley has received a lot of offers to lead other formations, but this one had a message for the potential interested. He will not move from Siberia. At least that's what the Franco-Ontarian said in a very humorous video, where we can see him dressed in a traditional Russian outfit.
"You again? I told you: I'm done with this. [... I just can't leave this place]. I don't need another job, I'm very happy here," he said. "Don't try to change my mind, I don't care how much you're going to offer me."
"It's not about the money," he continued, pointing with his hands to the country setting in which he finds himself. "Who will take care of my animals if I go away?"
Decidedly, for Hartley, the important thing is that he is happy in what he does, rather than prioritizing money. A man with incredible values, this Bob. Remember that Hartley has just won the Gagarin Cup, the Trophy given to the KHL champion team.

A real treat!
