BREAKING: the worst has just been confirmed for Brendan Gallagher

We suspected that the fiery Brendan Gallagher wasn't taking a day off "for fun" yesterday. To keep him off the ice, it must have been pretty important.

But despite the day of treatment, we were still hopeful that Gallagher would be able to be in his position today.

Finally, it is not the case. The worst has just been confirmed and Gallagher is indeed injured again:

"Brendan Gallagher will not practice this morning and will not face the Flames tonight. He is being evaluated for a lower body injury." - Montreal Canadiens

He must be so frustrated with this, and we sincerely hope it's not too serious, and more importantly, that it doesn't follow him around too long.

One thing is for sure, for Brendan Gallagher to miss a game, it's not a little "boo-boo".
