BOOM: Arber Xhekaj's Fate Has Been Confirmed and It Will Stir Things Up
As we have reported throughout the day, the rumor has been circulating a lot today, and now it has just been officially confirmed by the Canadiens.
Arber Xhekaj recalled!
A recall that comes just as the Habs are getting ready to face the Ottawa Senators, against whom there has been a lot of action recently. (both in the NHL and AHL, by the way)
Xhekaj, who has roughed up several Sens players in the past, will be there and we are very excited to see him in action again.
It's over for Xhekaj in Laval, the Sheriff is back!
"The Canadiens have recalled defenseman Arber Xhekaj from the Laval Rocket." - Montreal Canadiens
See the announcement.
Xhekaj, 22 years old, 6 feet 4 inches tall and 240 pounds, has accumulated 11 points in 17 games this season with the Rocket. (3 points in 17 NHL games)
He has 34 penalty minutes in 17 games with the Rocket, and 47 penalty minutes in 17 games with the Canadiens.
