Allan Walsh responded very harshly to a Quebec journalist
On Wednesday morning, some images caught the attention during the Habs training, while Jonathan Drouin and Dominique Ducharme seem to have had a rather heated exchange towards the end of the session.
Patrick Friolet of the RDS network pointed out that the first named really didn't look happy on these images. A tweet that brought him the wrath of a well-known face in the world of hockey.
Indeed, it was the player agent, Allan Walsh, who took the time to respond to Friolet. And not only did he answer him, but he violently defended Jonathan Drouin, saying that it was a normal conversation and that Patrick Friolet knew nothing about hockey, while insulting him several times in passing...
"You obviously know nothing about hockey. This is a normal conversation between a player and a coach, a discussion that takes place at each training session. Just a pathetic attempt to rub it in. You're a disgrace", Walsh said of Friolet.
Walsh was, of course, criticized within hours of this publication, for attacking an experienced and respected journalist like Patrick Friolet. In short, this is not Walsh's first time making the headlines, but this one was particularly free and especially totally useless on his part.
