The news that Edmonton Oilers fans have been dreading has come down. The team's most used player, defenseman Darnell Nurse, has been suspended for one game by the NHL's Department of Player Safety.
He head-butted Phillip Danault of the Kings during the team's last game.
Verdict: The Oilers will have to try to avoid elimination (and another huge disappointment) tonight without the services of their best defenseman.
Nurse has just been suspended for one game. A huge blow to Edmonton.
