As you know, star forward Sidney Crosby unfortunately missed game six of the first round series between the New York Rangers and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
A turning point in the matchup.
He was sidelined after being hit in the head by Jacob Trouba in Game 5 in New York. Rob Rossi (The Athletic) broke a big news story that it was Penguins management that did not allow Crosby to play in Game 6.
"He passed his tests, and he wanted to play in Game 6, but the general manager told him no," Rossi said.
A news that generated an avalanche of reactions on social networks.
The whole thing reached the ears of head coach Mike Sullivan, after the elimination of the Penguins, and he was clear: it is not true. Crosby had not been given the green light by doctors for Game 6.
That changes the game quite a bit.
