The former Montreal Canadiens staff did something fascinating before handing over to Jeff Gorton. He picked up a very interesting prospect in the fifth round of the last draft, Joshua Roy from Quebec.

The Saint-Georges-de-Beauce native is simply incredible in the 2021-2022 season. He currently leads the QMJHL scoring column with 45 points, including 16 goals, in 24 games.
Aside from his points, he has done some other rather rewarding things.
He had no points in only three games for his team this year. He has two or more points in 14 different games and has 13 points in his last six games. He is smoking!
He had a strong training camp with the CH last fall, which obviously set the table for his current season. He has improved his work ethic and overall game considerably, which will help him a lot in his transition from junior to the pros.
The organization will have to be patient with him in his development and in a few years, we may see him put on the Canadiens jersey. He is clearly on the right track!
