Awkward scene involving Toronto Maple Leafs fans goes viral
Last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs blew a lead at home and ultimately lost 3-2 to the Florida Panthers.
They are currently in serious trouble, trailing 0-2 in the series, and having to play the next two games on the road.
This made us want to bring back a certain video, which is becoming increasingly awkward for Leafs fans:
They were chanting this even before knowing the outcome of the series between the Panthers and the Boston Bruins.
They wanted Florida to win because they believed the Leafs would easily beat the Panthers.
Oops.
"Maple Leafs fans were chanting 'We Want Florida' a few nights ago. Yeah, you didn't want Florida. The Panthers are doing the same thing to Toronto that they did to the Boston Bruins."
