Snoop Dogg is going after Gary Bettman and he just sent a very clear message
You have certainly heard about it by now, but Snoop Dogg is seriously motivated to become one of the owners of the Ottawa Senators.
In the past few hours, he has insisted that he is very serious about his approach and that it is not a joke.
He has a vision and he believes he could bring a lot to the NHL, which, according to him, is lacking in some areas.
Snoop did not hesitate to take a dig at Gary Bettman.
"Gary Bettman's league, they don't know anything about marketing, they don't know how to promote their sport. Like McDavid, he's the best hockey player in the world, number one. Why don't we see more of him on TV? Why isn't he being advertised everywhere?"
That's really well said and we love it.
Honestly, it's hard to disagree with him. The National Hockey League could learn so much from Formula 1, the NFL, and golf to do a much better marketing job.
Rest assured that if Snoop Dogg becomes one of the owners of the Sens, we will see their logo everywhere and we will see players like Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle everywhere.
It could launch an interesting movement in the NHL.
