A fairly important name within the Montreal Canadiens organization has just agreed to terms with the Boston Bruins.
Luke Cavallin, who is likely the main reason the Trois-Rivières Lions became the 2025 ECHL champions, has indeed signed with the Bruins.
This is significant because several sources indicated that Kent Hughes and the Canadiens had plans for Cavallin, but they simply couldn't beat the Bruins' offer.
Quietly, this is a big move for Cavallin!
He just signed nothing less than an NHL entry-level contract with Boston!

Only 24 years old, Luke Cavallin is a 6-foot-1, 196-pound goaltender.
In 20 playoff games, he posted a 1.53 goals-against average and a .948 save percentage with a 15-5-0 record.. That's exceptional!
It will be interesting to follow his development with the Boston Bruins, but they clearly believe he could potentially become an NHL-caliber goaltender.
