Monster trade proposal involving Connor Bedard: things got heated on TVA Sports
In the last few minutes on TVA Sports, we have seen a heated debate between Jean-Charles Lajoie and Tony Marinaro.
"Let's say the Arizona Coyotes win the first overall pick, does Auston Matthews become Coyotes property, and does Connor Bedard go to Toronto?" - Jean-Charles Lajoie
Tony's Answer:
"You're sick. Have you fallen on your head? What is going on with you? [...] "
- Tony Marinaro
- Tony Marinaro
One of the things Lajoie says is that if Matthews tells the Leafs he's leaving at the end of his contract, Toronto should trade him.
Marinaro agrees with this point, but unlike JiC, he believes that the Arizona Coyotes, on the other hand, should not trade Bedard for Matthews (especially because of the payroll)
"Jean-Charles Lajoie would trade Bedard to the Maple Leafs to get his hands on Matthews, who is from Arizona.
Tony Marinaro, on the other hand, totally disagrees...and that deep difference of opinion created quite a debate on air Tuesday night at JiC." - TVA Sports

The tone did indeed get heated.
