Another huge blow for the Montreal Canadiens and it doesn't look good at all

As we reported last night, unfortunately, forward Jake Evans was injured during the game against the New York Islanders.

We are obviously not experts, but according to the first prognosis on the web and by some media, it seems to be very negative. It seems to be a long term injury.

But let's wait and see, we still hope for a nice surprise.

Bad news.

Anyway, if we let go of the speculation and get down to the nitty gritty, RDS reporter Luc Gélinas posted this:

"Don't expect to see Jake Evans in uniform tomorrow (today). He left the arena walking with difficulty with a brace on his left knee.

Left knee injury." - Luc Gélinas

Another tile that falls on the organization regarding injuries. It's starting to add up to several. Let's hope it's not like Kaiden Guhle in the case of Evans...

It's such a shame for Evans, who was playing his best hockey of the season and was technically the second center on the team.

In any case, we should expect to see Mike Hoffman or Michael Pezzetta back in the lineup today against the Rangers.

More details will follow!

Evans, 26, has 11 points in 42 games this season.
