Two Players Have Just Been Placed on Waivers Including a 6-Foot-5 Giant Defenseman
We've got some waiver wire action in the National Hockey League this July, and it involves two players.
The Montreal Canadiens already have a decision to make, as both players are now quick and free options available on waivers.
Many fans (in the comments) are wondering what happened with Voit, making his case the more surprising of the two.
Two Players Are Now Freely Available on NHL Waivers
Check out Friedman's post:
"Joni Jurmo (CAL) and Ty Voit (TOR) have both been placed on unconditional waivers for contract termination."
So, he's not a selection made by the Leafs' current management.
In 63 ECHL games last season, he recorded 37 points.
He also played for the Toronto Marlies, the Leafs' AHL affiliate, after previously putting up 105 points in 67 games in the OHL.
He played 17 games this season with the Calgary Flames' AHL affiliate.
A situation to keep an eye on!
