While forward Joel Armia is currently enjoying good times with the Montreal Canadiens, as the trade deadline approaches, renowned informants are starting to believe he could have value and interest some clubs.

This is notably the case with David Pagnotta, and it's quite a turnaround.
Some contending teams have urgent gaps to fill and could certainly benefit from an Armia. (especially the playoff Armia)
Knowing this, see what the excellent PM Perron has suggested.

A trade between the Canadiens and the Panthers involving Joel Armia?

He is targeting two players in particular:
«TO FLORIDA - Joel Armia

TO MONTREAL - Gracyn Sawchyn + a contract (Ryan Lomberg targeted here)»

He also explains this:
«Paul Maurice appreciated Armia's playoff performance and his output in the conference finals. He improves a third line.

Sawchyn was ranked 24th last summer and was drafted 63rd. Has not taken the next expected step with a more significant role on his new team. A very good "buy low" in my opinion.»

- PM Perron

Would you make this trade, then?
Sawchyn, 19 years old, is a 2nd round pick in 2023.
He has accumulated 28 points in 29 games this season in the WHL with Edmonton, and 21 points in 17 games with Seattle. We're talking about a right-handed center.
It could be a nice project, in exchange for Armia.
Some saw him as a 1st round pick last June, imagine!
As for Ryan Lomberg, he would be a «salary dump» earning just under one million per year.
